Digital Success Minus the Stress. Build a successful digital business with less moving parts, less overhead and less headaches.
Cutting Through All the B.S. in Business
You’re not just selling a product – you are the product. Growth comes slowly when your business looks and sounds like everyone else’s.
If superior skills or superior service won’t get you to where you want to be, superior strategy usually will.
That’s what I’d like to talk about in today’s podcast. Cutting through all the traditional marketing B.S. that litters today’s business landscape and seeing things for exactly what they are.
That and more in today’s podcast.
Will We See a Worldwide Reset?
Change usually occurs gradually, over time. From 2015 to about 2017, I noticed things were beginning to change at an accelerated pace. You could almost feel the change that was in the air. It started to affect (maybe word “infect” would be the better word) everything?
People were growing noticeably tired of the status quo.
In my own industry, people were also growing restless. Many were noticing slowdowns and changes but it wasn’t really something people were discussing in public forums.
Now in 2020, the shutdowns we’ve experienced have put the brakes on most economies throughout the world.
Are we in the midst of what might eventually become a worldwide reset of sorts?
That and more in today’s podcast.
How You’re Thinking May Be Hurting Your Business
There’s no getting around the fact that how we think has a direct effect upon us. There’s a lot of discouragement out there today. As a result of this, many people aren’t overly optimistic about their future. They are finding it increasingly difficult to move forward.
Regardless of what’s happening on the outside, what’s happening on the inside can be a critical component in determining what comes next for you.
It’s been said that how you think in approaching any single objective is the single most important factor determining whether you reach that objective.
In today’s podcast, I want to talk about the link between inward changes and outward results
A Solopreneur-Style Strategy Will Change Your Business
In today’s podcast, I’ll be talking about a 3-part Solopreneur-Style strategy that will change your business. The emphasis here is on SOLO. That means – just you. The great thing about this strategy is, you’re not relying on anyone else.
The strategy is based on having three simple systems in place. The word “system” may be a little misleading because it implies several moving parts. However, each system will work fine with a single moving part.
Most of you already have one or two of these systems somewhat in place. The thing is, you may not see them in the light that I’m going to present them in. Having all three in place completes the picture. From there, you can purposely work your system.
Choosing a marketing/sales system and putting it together is like choosing what software you’re going to use for your daily business activities. You pick something and stick with it. Over time, your speed and proficiency increase, and results follow.

Discovering Your Clear Path Forward
Only two months to go before we’ll be saying, “Goodbye to 2020!” At this point, it’s getting much easier to where we might be headed as we enter 2021. Some industries are recovering quickly here in the US while others will never be the same. I’m talking about businesses who were struggling over the last several years – 2020 has shut many of them down for good.
Let me say this, if you’re a small business owner and you’ve been able to keep your overhead manageable, 2021 will be a great year to focus on building your personal platform and increasing your visibility in whatever marketplace you see a future in.
Some markets have a much brighter future than others. So, we’re going to plan with the future in mind.
Will Your Income Be Affected 6-12 Months from Now?
At the beginning of the shutdowns, I adopted a “wait and see” approach as to how my market would be affected by the situation.
It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and make a decision that’s more based on emotion than anything else.
Now that we’re getting ready to enter November, it’s much easier to see how things have played out, not just in the economy in general, but in your specific marketplace in particular.
