Episode 09 Emotional & Environmental Wellness - Being Mindful In The Moment and Art as a Healing Tool for Self Acceptance with Photographer Sylvie Mazerolle

https://www.instagram.com/sylvie.mazerolle https://sylviemazerolle.wixsite.com/myvision-ourworld sylvie.mazerolle@yahoo.ca Mindfulness, Being in the moment, Using art as a healing tool for self acceptance The Poem that inspired her Mermaids Tears Series As I hit 49... I want to age like sea glass. Smoothed by tides, not broken. I want the currents of life to toss me around, shake me up and leave me feeling washed clean. I want my hard edges to soften as the years pass — made not weak, but supple. I want to ride the waves, go with the flow, feel the impact of the surging tides rolling in and out. When I am thrown against the shore and caught between the rocks and a hard place, I want to rest there until I can find the strength to do what is next. Not stuck — just waiting, pondering, feeling what it feels like to pause. And when I am ready, I will catch a wave and let it carry me along to the next place that I am supposed to be. I want to be picked up on occasion by an unsuspected soul and carried along — just for the connection, just for the sake of appreciation and wonder. And with each encounter, new possibilities of collaboration are presented, and new ideas are born. I want to age like sea glass so that when people see the old woman I’ll become, they’ll embrace all that I am. They’ll marvel at my exquisite nature, hold me gently in their hands and be awed by my well-earned patina. Neither flashy nor dull, just the right luster. And they’ll wonder, if just for a second, what it is exactly I am made of and how I got to be in this very here and now. And we’ll both feel lucky to realize, once again, that we have landed in that perfectly right place at that profoundly right time. I want to age like sea glass. I want to enjoy the journey and let my preciousness be, not in spite of the impacts of life, but because of them. - Bernadette Noll

Episode 08 Environmental & Vocational Wellness - Seeing The Beauty Everywhere with Sarah Coniglio of Project Wonderfull

SARAH CONIGLIO Project Wonderfull Website  http://www.projectwonderfull.com/?fbclid=IwAR3lTKkOjmyPQh6ekU_0Ty6vC-0NWW6BU_nxJrIvYAVRohgg98013FOCp_8 IG @project_wonderfull Sarah is a Social Impact Photographer who has traveled to over 25 countries in the world capturing their beauty with her camera and making the world a more wonderFULL place.  While traveling, she has also worked with many non-profits utilizing her 15 years of experience in the fundraising industry to help them grow and gain awareness, through photo journalism.  It brings Sarah so much joy to share her work, that’s why she founded Project WonderFULL in April of 2019. This is her latest labor of love and her purpose. She has taken the opportunity to visit with non-profits all over the world. At each visit, she uncovers the wonderFULL stories of the genesis of their organization, brainstorming and consulting on fundraising and social media strategies and photographing their work in action. All of the photos taken, can be used for whatever they need: for website, social media and/or print. Her goal is to leave them with more skills and photography to further grow and get closer to their beautiful missions. CLUB A-COSTA RICA, I AM YOU-GREECE, SRUJNA - INDIA, MOKSHA - ARGENTINA Your Story, recaptured. Your work, documented. Your world, in prints. To bring anyone joy through my photography is what brings her joy.  I love and admire that not only does she capture beauty but she also adds love and beauty into the world wherever she travels. Her commitment to bringing these non-profit organizations to light for all of us to see is a testament to that. I have warned her that if her International travel plans can’t be made then I am dragging her with me to Nashville to the annual fundraiser for Safe Haven where I can finally tell Dierks Bentley thank you in person!  If you know Sarah as I do, you know that she is the first to want to explore wherever she is in the world (even her own neighborhood during this time of Stay at Home)… and furthermore, she always has her camera in tow to capture the amazing beauty she discovers on her journeys.  I am blessed that took the photos of me you see on my website and podcast cover (yes we stayed outside and maintained proper social distancing on a gorgeous sunny spring day!)
