The Legacy Music Hour podcast was created by Brent Weinbach and Rob F. for the purpose of sharing and talking about video game music from specifically the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. No remixes, no covers, no video game inspired music -just pure, original music from the NES, SNES, Genesis, and more.

Episode 240: Competition
Competition is kind of the theme of Episode 240 -not just in sports but also on the streets and other things. But also, guess what though? More Pac-Man talk on this episode! And more controversial theories about the Pac-Man universe. Speaking of controversies, the boys also touch on the scam going on with retro video game prices these days. LMH Mixtape #129: Twilight Games
Following up on their launch games focus, Brent and Rob took another suggestion from user Ryan and curated a selection of "twilight" games: games that were published during their console's final year (or years) of active title releases. Taken together, these two mixtapes form an engaging and symmetrical retrospective on composition and hardware -- like bookends, made of chiptune.Download and
Episode 239: The Olympics
This episode is Olympics themed, especially on Rob’s end of track selections. Different years also come up a bit, years like 1996 and 1943 and so forth. Should arm wrestling be an event at the Olympics? Should Rob become a full time psychic? These questions and more might just be answered on the Legacy Music Hour. LMH Mixtape #128: Launch Games
For Episode 128, the boizz followed a suggestion from user Ryan and took a sampling of the tunes from games that launched the same year their console debuted. Switch also coined that very particular pronunciation of "boy" that we can no longer live without.Download and

Sayonara Wild Hearts
First heard Brent recommending SWH on The Poundcast and got it right away for Switch. Paid off hugely to say the least.
But I was so excited when he brought it up on the latest LMH episode. Brent started listing favourite tracks and I was like “(begin again, begin again...)” and they went for it. I was dancing alone in the dark in the middle of the night like a small child. Made my night and day.
