A weekly Apple related podcast that doesn't take itself too seriously. In fact, I'm wearing a rubber nose as I type this.
On our last show before our Summer break (returning in August) Alan, Dean, Steve and Karl pour over the weeks Apple-related news. Benchmarks appear for the DTK Macs, despite Apple explicitly forbidding them. New ransomware is attacking via pirated apps. Apple pulling the plug on some Apple Arcade games and the new Apple Watch apps for sleep tracking hand-washing has been in development for years. All this and slightly more on this week’s episode.
Apple just wrapped its WWDC 2020 keynote and although it may have started out a bit slow it certainly ended on some big announcements. Karl is joined by his regular co-hosts of Alan, Dean, and Steve as we sort through the reveals and look forward to what lays ahead of us as users. All this and slightly more on this week’s episode.
Alan, Dean, Steve and Karl are getting pretty excited as we near the start of WWDC 2020, especially for the Keynote on Monday. Here they share their thoughts, hopes and wishes on what might be announced for iOS, iPadOS, WatchOS, TVOS and MacOS, plus the possibility of ‘one more thing’ or maybe more that might be on the cards. All this and slightly more on this week’s episode.
The gang is all here once again as Alan, Dean, Steve and Karl return to sort through the recent Apple-related news. iBooks Author and iTunes U are headed for the scrap heap. PocketCast gets banned in China. More Apple stores set to open. Stores to accept trade-in Mac’s. Summer colours are here and there is rumoured to be a big announcement concerning the Mac at WWDC. All this and slightly more on this week’s episode.
This is Getting Like Windows
Alan, Steve and Karl return to sort through the recent Apple-related news. Karl is enjoying making YouTube videos. Apple joins in on Black Out Tuesday. Another series of updates get released. Tile complains to EU regulators about Apple. Did Apple double its RAM prices and will the iPhone ship a little later this year? All this and slightly more on this week’s episode.
Bunch of Muppets
The ‘other’ half of the G-Men, GazMaz, from the MyMac Podcast joins Alan, Dean and Karl this week, to sort through the recent Apple-related news. Apple TV+ adds old, and new, Fraggle Rock episodes to its library, with one big missing character if you’re an older UK viewer. MacOS Catalina 10.15.5 arrives, time for a restart. YouTube Kids arrives on AppleTV, which should please many harassed parents. What was with that huge influx of updates this week? Some EU states are still not happy with Apple/Googl

One of the Best!
One of the best. The show is a funny discussion and catchup with all things Mac and iOS. The style of the hosts is like being down the pub chatting with buddies and having fun. Highly recommend the show and keep up the good work.
This is the one that you don't want to miss, low key but informative with great guests, a little humor, a few comments and good content. Much appreciated.
