Our Bed Habits & the 5 Stages of Love

Our Bed Habits & the 5 Stages of Love

May 3rd, 2021 –  In this episode, the ladies are back with a late night chat that starts off with some classic tangents that will make you laugh! Sarah and Lauren breakdown mattress size and why it matters for your marriage. They discuss what size they each sleep and why! They are sure you can relate. This correlates to their main thought this episode, the five stages every relationship goes through. They break it down and discuss if this is a monthly cycle or if it occurs over years at a time… what do you think?? The first stage being The Merge, which is basically falling in love and being on cloud nine!  The next phase is Doubt and Denial – as you learn the flaws and initial obstacles that the relationship presents. The third being Disillusionment; where some people decide if the relationship will work, deciding to put in the effort to change things and improve. The fourth stage is Decision, where you chose to stay and love that person, committing to a better tomorrow (or possibly parting ways).  And last is the Wholehearted Love phase – where you have find a deeper, more mature, love. Relationships will continue through these cycles over the years and continue to grow together. The ladies close out with their hits and misses, Lauren got a quiet night while the boys went camping and Sarah said good bye to her crib for good! Thank you for tuning in to the Mom Voice Podcast! Every listen counts.

The 2021 Guide for Keeping Your Kids Safe in the Car

The 2021 Guide for Keeping Your Kids Safe in the Car

Apr. 19th, 2021 –  In this episode, the ladies share some important safety tips for the car! The Mom Voice breaks down all the laws & guidelines for various ages and car seats. We think we know – but things are changing all the time. From the federal guidelines to state laws, they break it all down. Things are different from state to state but we clarify our Arizona laws for what ages infants can turn around to face forward, when toddlers need to be in car seats and when those older kiddos can move to the front seat.  A great reminder to check your family’s travel situation. They also offer some tips on how to avoid vehicular heatstroke.  Sharing how we should never leave children in the car especially in these hot summer months. It’s a tragedy that can be prevented and a discussion to have with anyone that watches your children. Here in Arizona, it’s a huge risk in the summer so they share a reminder to just make sure you’re on top of it. They close the show with their hits and misses of the week.  Lauren sharing a big upcoming opportunity for the podcast in Florida and Sarah’s miss of feeling “off”.

Mum’s need love

I use to get excited for Monday to come because it meant a new episode of The Mom Voice. But lately I’ve not been feeling this way. I feel like The Mom Voice is more of a judgemental voice playing in my ear. From episodes shaming mothers for not breast feeding to then shaming them for what they eat. I feel like this isn’t a safe space anymore. Sadly unsubscribing now.
