I started listening to this podcast over a year ago. I have since repeated the series multiple times and not always from the beginning.
I undertook this search in the Emperor of the French to expand my passion of history away from the Roman Empire and into some new ground. Little did I know that Napoleon Bonaparte was the perfect choice for this matter living the lives of multiple Caesar’s and ending in the just as a grand of fashion. It must be noted that there is some hard feelings in this podcast towards the British and their ability to bring Napoleon Bonaparte down, with the help of Austria, Prussia, Russia and Some of the German states. Just ignore Cameron Reilly on the British and I think you can really enjoy the legend and history of Napoleon. No history telling is without predispositions as everyone’s view varies on any topic. I believe the preconceptions given here are perfect in challenging your view of Napoleon, and most likely will bring you closer to whom this man was.
