An auspicious launch
The buzz around Normal People, the book and the BBC TV series, is about as loud as it gets for something so non-commercial, low budget, and lacking in flash. Of course, this is because the writing of both are oozing in substance.
This new podcast dives straight in to the TV series’ most interesting and debatable aspects. The co-hosts are clearly fans, but they seem interested in more than gushing - they talk about *why* the characters and the show have such a unique appeal. It will be very interesting to see how they work through the rest of the show, which they indicate will be discussed on a one-episode-per-podcast basis. Looking forward to it!
