Eye opening and captivating

I have gone through the entire backlog of the OTPodcast and I am so sad there is not more yet! I have been writing fanfiction for more than 15 years now, but I am also extremely interested in the meta aspect of fandom, not just meta about canons and such but also meta about the whys and the hows and the whats of fandom, and this podcast provides exactly that. Every single episode, even the ones for fandoms that I am not into (which is most as I am into video games) provides great insight on the mechanics of the fanfiction side of fandom as a community of people and as a cultural thing that people who would have never met otherwise do together. Thank you so much, OTPodcast, for showing me that no, I am not overthinking my and other people's involvement in fandom, because other people have the same interrogations as me and are willing to sit around, think about it out loud, and record it as a podcast for the enjoyment of other people, for free, because that too is what fandom is about. Long live OTPodcast!

Really great!

I have liked the Podcast since I first listened to it a few weeks ago, but the last episode was especially good and the discussion extremely relevant! I had a great time listening to this at work and nodding endlessly to approve the interventions of the great guests :) I am also an ace that loved erotic fanfiction! There is a term for that in the asexual spectrum: aurochorisexual or aegosexual :p I hope there will be more of this Podcast in the future! (Btw, I was also very pleased that you mentionned the sphere of kpop fanfics and even my favorite kpop group, in the other recent episode reviewing 2015 ^^)~
