My favourite parenting podcast
Sarah’s podcast makes me feel less alone in this wild parenting journey.
Sarah and her guests’ advice is so helpful in getting me to see how to implement peaceful parenting at home and I’ve seen a big difference in my relationship with my kid.
Parenting is so hard but this podcast makes me feel like I can do this, and even when I inevitably mess up, Sarah’s motto of self-compassion helps me realize I’m still a good parent.
Supportive, loving and informative
Thank you, Sarah, for this awesome podcast. I love how you constantly refer back to how “peaceful parenting” is an authoritative approach to parenting - and then keep describing what that means. What you share is accessible and relatable. And I find myself wishing podcasts had been a thing when I was a young parent - I now have teen and preteen grandchildren! So now I listen with them in mind.
I also listen as a colleague. I am co-host of The Nurturing Parent podcast and am loving listening to yours and other parenting podcasts to get a feel for how people are sharing similar information. And I’m so loving that exploration! There is so much to share!
This morning I listened to your interview with Jessica Lahey about alcohol and substance abuse prevention. Thank you. As an adult child of an alcoholic family I know how incredibly important this topic is. (I was actually in tears a couple of times, given I guess, that I lost my baby brother earlier this year in a death related to his struggle with alcoholism. So, yes, these conversations need to be had. Thank you. 🙏🏽)
Every episode I have listened to I have gotten lots out of and often say “yes!” out loud as I listen and find so much that resonates. Thank you for doing this very important work.
Lisa
My go-to podcast for parental inspiration!
I am so thankful for the care and energy that Sarah puts into her Peaceful Parenting Podcast episodes. As a stay-at-home-mum of a 5 year old I often feel alone or lost as what to do in the challenging moments but listening to Sarah’s wisdom along with all the amazing guest speakers she has on always makes me feel empowered, more compassionate towards myself and child, and inspires me to keep growing and learning.
