Body Acceptance And Social Media With Jenn Green

Body Acceptance And Social Media With Jenn Green

I love all of the podcast interviews that I do, but this one was a special one for me. I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Jenn Green of This Baby Mama Body. We get into some pretty deep conversation and discussion around women's bodies and the social media trends we are seeing around this area. I personally learned a lot by speaking with Jenn and love how outspoken she is about these trends and why we need to do better.

In this episode, you'll also hear about Jenn's own story and views on the fitness industry within social media. She also shared her top tips for female entrepreneurs who may be struggling with putting themselves out there on social media.

As always, thank you for listening. If you are interested in learning more about what it would be like to work with me, I'd love for you to get on the waitlist for my Perfectly Imperfect Social online course. This episode is a first for me and one that I'm pretty excited about (I was also a little bit nervous about it too!). In today's episode I do some live social media coaching with Chris Swail, a health and life coach. I answer her questions about social media and help her tackle some of the challenges she's having.

In this episode, I answer Chris' questions about social media, including:

    - What platforms should you be on as a business?
    - How to increase engagement overall?
    - How to get over feeling awkward when you are commenting!

I know that many of you are struggling with the same things as Chris, so I hope that you find some tips in this episode!

How Body Image May Be Playing A Role In Your Social

How Body Image May Be Playing A Role In Your Social

One of my big theories is that how we feel about ourselves and our body plays a role in how we show up on social media. Women tend to be highly critical of themselves and their appearance - myself included. For a number of years I would avoid being in photos and would never in a million years want to be on video! But I've been working on this and I want to help you do the same!

In this episode, I talk to Chernell Bartholomew who is certified health coach, registered massage therapist and trainer who wants you to have vibrant energy. She has the most vibrant energy and in this conversation we cover:

    1. Why many women struggle with having a positive body image.
    2. The relationship between body image and social media.
    3. How it may be preventing female entrepreneurs from showing up as themselves in their social media.

Finally, Chernell shares three tips that will help you get out there more and stop being so hard on yourself! We are all beautiful.
