Biography:

Jean-Pierre (JP) LaPorte is the founder and CEO of INTEGRIS Pension Management Corp., a Toronto-area pension consultant. Formerly a pension lawyer on Bay Street, JP realized that private sector employees did not have access to the same quality benefits packages and pension plans as some of his clients. Consequently, he founded INTEGRIS and created a Personal Pension Plan (PPP), which allows private sector employees to build up a substantial nest egg of their own.

In this episode, JP discusses what is was like to found his own compoany, what a PPP offers that an RRSP or IPP can’t provide, and how you can use your PPP to make the most of tax season.
