Just go for the ride

This is a great podcast. If I could lovingly sum it up: man goes on tangent for 1 hour; there are no tangents.

I live for these episodes!

I absolute love listening to Rob speaking. I find myself falling, fast, in love with his messages, each and every time. I love listening to him and Kristen as well as him and Trace. So grateful for this podcast and learning about how Rob Bell sees the world. So beautiful.

Confusing

He talks about not being obnoxious when you grow in faith, but then he obnoxiously talks about the Bible and biblical Christianity. He started off calling his ministry true biblical Christianity, but then he’s gone off the rails saying things like “Be careful of people who come to you with confidence and with Bible verses”, essentially saying it’s dangerous to use the Bible with confidence. This guy is confusing to listen to because he has no dogma for what he believes. He is essentially an agnostic, who classifies himself as a “Christian” or “spiritual person” but he’s really just an unbelieving agnostic who actually is closer to an atheist to a true Deist
