Serious topics; weird joviality
I finished hearing about Japanese Canadian internments. Great episode and I learned a lot. I found the girl-humour and joviality a bit out of place and somewhat trivialising the somber subject matter. Nonetheless, 4 stars for content and coverage.
Best. Canadian Podcast. Ever
I started listening to Secret Life of Canada after hearing a quick commercial and after my first episode I was hooked. I love learning facts about Canada that are not taught or touched on. I love viewpoints and the passion the hosts give to each episode. I recommend this Podcast to everyone I know. Keep the episodes coming.
Excellent way to face our history!
Amazing depth. Incredible facts. Super engaging. And… I love the banter between the two of you. I think it’s so important to be able to laugh while also tackling heavy subject matter.
