Today I welcome Mr. Chris Seetoo to the Podcast. Chris is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Smile Sonica, the makers of the Aevo Orthodontic Acceleration System.
Before joining the SmileSonica, Chris held several positions in sales at Align Technology, partnering with orthodontists, dentists and dental professionals, helping them integrate digital technology to achieve their goals and provide the best possible care and experience for their patients.
What is Smile Sonica? Smile Sonica is a Canadian technology company focused on the research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of medical devices for BOTH dental and health care including the Aevo System™.
The Aevo System™ is an ultrasound technology that is a painless, non-invasive, and patient-friendly system which accelerates alveolar bone remodelling, shortening the duration of orthodontic treatment safely, with a predictable and stable outcome. I integrated the Aevo System into my Invisalign practice approximately 12 months ago, and the feedback on this method of acceleration (over the MOPS technique I used previously) has been great.
Today we discuss the benefits of incorporating Aevo into the ortho workflow for practices, including some unexpected spin offs that I personally have used it for. Let us know what you think and feel free to ask any questions!
