Hello and welcome! This week, I am riffing on the archetypal energy of the Destroyer and how this energy mirrors the creative and destructive power of the Earth and all life on Earth. The destroyer archetype comes up when life becomes severe in some or many ways. I am using the analogies of three different natural disasters (Earth's destructive forces), and tying them to the ways that we, as humans, also use the forces of destruction in our lives. I talk about how space is created from endings, how best to prepare for filling that space after an ending, I offer ways to work with the shadow and the subconscious to reduce the amount of times we hit emotional overload that leads to a deep under-the-surface rupture. I also get into how to harness the power of destruction in a conscious way so that we can break apart containers, agreements, and patterning that are no longer of service to our growth or life path. I am also introducing some ways that the destroyer can be housed in the shadowy places of our subconscious to sabotage life-force and opportunity that is healthy for us.
