    RAD episode: Dragonball Xenoverse 2

It is time to once again gather the seven Dragonballs and summon, Shenron, the eternal dragon! Mike “The Birdman” Dodd helps Trunks and his fellow time patrollers control the history of the Dragonball universe in this sequel to last year’s surprise hit. Evil once again trips up the time stream and it is up to a new series of hero to step and help Goku and friends make sure history stays the same.
However…there is something oddly familiar about this game…almost as if we’ve been here before…weirdly like not much has changed. Has enough changed to justify another 60 dollar purchase?

Welcome back to RAD and it’s our first review show of the year and we’re starting off with something different, FAR CRY PRIMAL on the Xbox One. Revealed as a Far cry game that took place in the time of early mankind and instead of guns we have spears and clubs and it looked weird but potentially really cool right?
Your host Mike “The Birdman”Dodd takes you through his experience with Tokkar, the Beastmaster and his quest to unite the Wenja of Oros. Delve deep into the prehistoric world filled with bears, sabretooh tigers and worse in this unique Far Cry game for the Xbox one.
Does this game deliver a thrilling caveman experience or would Fred Flintstone be a better protagonist?

RAD episode: Rise of the Tomb Raider

RAD episode: Rise of the Tomb Raider

So, you’ve fought an ancient sun god and basically punched wild life and done all sorts of crazy stuff, what do you do for an encore?
This is Mike “The Birdman”Dodd and he is following up on the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider with the timed Xbox One exclusive ” Rise of the Tomb Raider” today on RAD. We get our passports stamped and prepare to do some globe trotting before finally ending up in Russia in pursuit of an artifact that could change what it means to be human but Lara wants it for more personal or family related reasons.
Frozen tundra, unforgiving mercenaries and even more vicious wild life await our adventurous archaeologist as she swings, shoots and crafts her way across the Russian landscape.
Does this game offer up enough to new material to make it a worthy successor to the reboot’s successor or will we discover this game at the bottom of a bargain bin?

Mike is a fantastic reviewer and a very entertaining host and the fact that he takes time to review a new (or old) game every day shows his talent and work ethic. If you ever get the chance, you should watch him record it on his livestream account.
