Relief

I was looking for information on this Mitchell’s Blair case and I downloaded 3 podcasts covering it. The last one was a different couple who were just rambling and they didn’t cover details of anything but the crime itself, they didn’t edit and sounded uneducated and just weren’t taking it seriously. Then I came here and expected the same and it was such a RELIEF! The research is clearly better, BOTH hosts read the details and don’t go on what I call “soft tangents.” It’s clear, it’s all relevant, and even in speech pattern these two are better. I’m not hearing mouth moisture and they don’t talk from behind their noses like some podcasters who don’t enunciate. Not only that, the last podcasters assumed Mitchell’s accusations were unexaggerated truth with a quick “but maybe not true” and these two handled that so so so much better. There was so much more respect for the real victims. I’m subscribing to this one and if episode 1 is this well done I can only look foreword to more. 👍👍👍

Charneil and Dee are the best!!

I’m a fairly new listener so I’m still trying to catch up, but the hosts are a breath of fresh air! Listening to them makes me feel like I’m having a conversation with close friends.
Their take on true crime brings new perspectives to the stories; ranging from social work, mental and emotional health, religion to race and socioeconomic factors. They both have a gift of taking horrible stories and making them light enough to have these necessary conversations.
I’m a huge fan and I’m excited to be part of the “what did you crew”!

One of the best true crime podcasts I’ve ever listened too.

Both informative and funny, this podcast is great for those who love the nitty gritty facts and psychology of a case, as well as those who love to laugh. Charneil and Dee are entertaining and easy to connect to, and balance each other’s personalities well, with one being obsessed with gore, and the other being squeamish, it’s fun to follow them, their sass, and their reactions as they go through both the infamous and the obscure. Additionally, this daring duo do their Research!!! I learn so much more about crime every time I listen to them and have gained great insight into the mind behind the monsters. It’s so much more satisfying to listen to them, rather than some other podcasters who uhmmm and uhhh as they stumble through cases thrive barely skimmed the surface of. Not only do they talk about the backgrounds of the killers and victims, they also talk about the psychology behind the crimes themselves, as well as the science of forensics. One thing that they have that makes them stand out is their background in social work, and the understanding that this lends them and by extension their listeners, as to why crime happens, the way abuse affects its victims, the effects of mental illness on behaviour and much much more. Truly, there’s nothing else out there quite like this.
