This month, we feature authors discussing their latest work as well as try to give hosts Brandi & Chris some much needed inspiration by talking about what they wrote this summer!
Purabi Sinha Das, originally from India, is now settled in Canada and writing literary fiction, poetry, and personal essays. Her short stories and poems have been published in literary journals and community newspapers, and are inspired by her travels, life in general, and growing years in a small town in Bihar, now Jharkhand. Purabi has a BA in English literature from Ranchi University in India. To bring joy and comfort to readers through the written word is Purabi’s vocation. Moonlight – the Journey Begins is Purabi’s first novel. It launched in August 2021 and is available in paperback, hardcover, and e-book format.

Michael Tanzer is a young adult with Autism, hailing from Thornhill, Ontario. He is a self-published author of MICHAELISM: My POV on Life with Autism and is also an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Advocator who is trying to spread Autism Awareness on Social Media. Michael has written several articles for Autism Matters magazine. His book is based on his own personal experiences and shares his Point of View (POV) on Life with Autism in the hopes that readers will gain a better understanding of individuals with ASD.

K. R. Wilson’s debut novel, An Idea About My Dead Uncle, won the inaugural Guernica Prize for unpublished manuscript in 2018. His second novel Call Me Stan: A Tragedy in Three Millennia will be published by Guernica in December. He lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter.
