What Made Our Nation So Successful‪?‬ The American Campfire Revival with Kirk Cameron

    • Christianity

The prosperity of the United States has made American citizens arrogant, and we’ve forgotten what made our country successful and special — the blessing of God as a result of being in right relationship with Him. Our forefathers and foremothers understood that the Bible must be used as a blueprint for our country, but we have forgotten the covenant that our founders made with God. As a result of the fall, the heart of man is deceitful, so we cannot place our hope in the future on the “promises” of a political party. Many American citizens feel trapped under our country’s system of greed, like slaves to a government that we don’t agree with and don’t know how to fix. If we don’t learn how to re-apply the truths of the Bible to our homes, schools, and government, America’s prosperity and greed will become an idol and threaten the future of our country. Instead, we must place our hope in the God of heaven, follow the example of Jesus, and be the kind of nation that offers freedom to its citizens and brings heaven to earth.
