I love this podcast! I look forward to it every week. It has been an informative way for me to revisit a show I love through a critical lens, and Emilie and Quinn keep things really interesting every week.
Great podcast!
I love finally be able to talk about all the problematic themes that we see in Friends. I love the show but in the world we live in today there are so many problems and I love the way Emilie and Quinn deconstruct the series without hating on it.
One of my new favourite podcasts
A friend told me about this podcast and I almost fainted from excitement; I have always loved Friends and have seen every episode at least once, but we all know there is some serious transphobia, homophobia, sexism, fat phobia, basically all the phobia’s peppered with internalized misogyny! This podcast is awesome to listen to because it makes me feel cozy and nostalgic thinking back to these episodes, while also being critical of it and thereby learning something new every episode and further challenging my own internal biases. If you’re someone who even casually enjoys Friends, you would benefit from listening to this podcast and you’d probably get some joy out of it too! ;)
