"Third time's the charm" - Kenneth McDuff
On this episode of Wife of Crime I'm telling Russ about the most notorious serial killer in Texas history! Kenneth McDuff was a life long bully and trouble maker who, not surprisingly would end up on death row in 1966 for a triple homicide. 10 years later, because of the death penalty being banned nationwide and Texas prisons being overcrowded HE GOT OUT!! He would go on to ruthlessly murder multiple women over the next few years. Because of McDuff, the State of Texas had to change the way they handled paroles and punishments. Moral of this story... My Toxic Valentine - Mike and Denise Williams
On this week's episode, I'm telling Russ the case of Mike and Denise Williams. In December of 2000 Mike Williams went missing while on a duck hunting trip at Lake Seminole. Police quickly came to the conclusion that this must have been a tragic accident. BUT there was one person who knew in her heart that this was way more than just an accident, and she spent 17 years on a mission to prove it! Moral of the story... "there is no force on earth more powerful than a mother's love."

Customer Reviews
This pod hits different!
Jess “l’il Wheezy” from Baltimore and Russ “the profile-a” from the Bronx have the most hilarious yet sweet relationship. L’il Wheezy tells the stories and the “fill-in-the-blank-ologist profile-a” listens and pipes in when he so chooses. Jess tells a great story and is very respectful of the victims. Throughout the episodes she lovingly laughs at Russ, gently scolds Russ and awkwardly tries to react to the comments he makes about himself regarding his struggles from his accident. They balance each other, they encourage each other and are forever laughing at silly things they say or words they can’t pronounce. There are a lot of true crime podcasts out there but this one hits different because of their bond, content delivery….or it could just be cause Jess sounds bald.
5 stars obviously…
I listen to a gross amount of true crime podcasts. I embarrassingly cannot function without consuming this type of content everyday as a I work from home and try to find anything to ease my anxiety. Lol This podcast is one of my faves. Russ, your commentary absolutely sends me. You are hilarious and make this difficult subject matter more accessible and entertaining. Jess, you are so well informed and companionate and I appreciate your attention to detail as well as your ability to constructively speculate on reported facts. Loving every moment of you two. Never change! - Annelise, Toronto CA
