Never did I ever think that Kickstarter could actually be used to be your ongoing selling platform!
I thought it was a platform to showcase the "ideas" or demo product models, where capital could be raised to crowdfund your idea AND THEN you could take your business to market.
Not for Cathrin Matchin, this ex award winning video game producer, turned Glow in the Dark Space Artist, not only used Kickstarter to launch her career as an artist, it's literally her direct selling platform.
With billions of websites in the world, ranking on Google is not easy and even if you become an Amazon reseller, the market is pretty competitive.
So should more of us be looking at Kickstarter to try and offer our unique product or service?
She raised $289,000 in 30 days from Crowdfunders! With her compelling Kickstarter campaigns, some of the largest SPACE companies in the world have taken notice to her work and have now commissioned her to create massive glow in the dark space art.
Was it SpaceX or N.A.S.A?
She couldn't quite tell us with who just yet, but I think there are some big projects within Cathrin's pipeline.
And guess what?!...
She ONLY just taught herself how to paint 2 years ago!

When I first met Karen Klassen through a mutual friend, all I seen was a walking success and powerful woman.
Never did I think at first glance, that she had ever been on welfare or even worse - addicted to drugs.
She had a drug dealing boyfriend and all she could think about was taking from others.
The narcissist and addict personality had taken over her mind, body and soul.
What and when exactly can this happen to us and why?
Is it deep rooted issues from childhood?
Karen's dad had wished that she was a boy, so she spent most of her childhood trying to act like a boy, believing that her dad would give her more love.
It didn't really work.
As an adult, she sought love and acceptance through men and sex and lost herself and purpose along the way.
I can relate to feeling ashamed as to who you were or where you came from.
I was a child of alcohol abuse and poverty.
We all have a past and the life we choose and WHO we decide to become is always up to one person - YOU.
You need to realize that you are not alone in the world of broken families, abuse, addiction, neglect or poverty.
There will always be someone, whether a child or adult that may need to hear YOUR story, so they can be inspired to keep going.
If you are struggling to make that 360 degree turn, you're not only going to be inspired by a woman who hurdled through her own pain and dark demons, you're also going to learn how she created a coaching and book publishing empire and how you can become the hero of your own story too.

I got a chance to interview, Chris Hart - a veteran recruiter with over a decade of experience to discuss how trends are changing in the employment application process.
For me, when I was an employee, I had never used a recruitment agency, however it's always intrigued me as to how it worked?
If I was ever to look for employment, I don't even have a resume anymore...it's now a 'personal portfolio', so I was curious to find out what my resume should look like, if I was ever to enter the employment market again, and WHO should I go to exactly, for help in finding the perfect employer for me?
That being said, he's got quite the heart and passion for what he does and being a recruiter doesn't exactly sound like it's the easiest job, so Chris decided to create a niche platform just for recruiters to offer them support and tips to help recruiters find candidates, and it's already picking up traction with guest contributors!

Great advice and wonderful team
Jolene and her team really work hard to curate hard hitting content to help entrepreneurs get through the hardships that come along with starting a company. I really enjoyed being on her show and the post-production work is amazing.
Excellent for getter started.
I really like this podcast. I’m just starting to put together an idea for a business plan and it’s tough to know where to start. There is some great information on here and excellent questions from entrepreneurs that started great companies with very little. Some of these stories are great to get motivated and get ideas.
