A glitch in the matrix & the world's biggest dumpster fire!

A glitch in the matrix & the world's biggest dumpster fire!

Brandi is coming to the YFTers after riding horses in the pouring rain and she’s looking for a steaming hot cup of Bachelor tea to get warmed up. Wells doesn’t have all the 411 but he does have plenty of questions, Bachelor-related and otherwise, like: Is this season going to be the biggest dumpster fire ever? What’s happening to TikTok? And, most importantly, did he hallucinate in Big Sur?

How to Save a Life (from a swarm of bees during a pandemic)

How to Save a Life (from a swarm of bees during a pandemic)

Wells is opening up about a traumatic experience with murder hornets (not really though) while on a run, saving a fellow runner through pure kindness and heroism and almost losing an AirPod in the process. Brandi, on the other hand, has discovered a newfound love of Yellowstone (both the place and the show) and may be picking up to move to Montana where the décor is suh specific but she’ll just have to embrace it.

The lazy fox jumps over the big brown dildo!?

The lazy fox jumps over the big brown dildo!?

Wells is extremely hungover after crushing a bottle of wine and FaceTiming all of his contacts (except for Brand-eye). Meanwhile, Brandi is struggling to leave her house because Nashville is officially feeling the heat but she still has many animals who depend on her. The co-hosts debate if anyone truly knows what they’re talking about when it comes to wine (the answer is no), if Wells’ next endeavor should be Broadway (the answer is also probably no), and whether we should make Bill Nye the next president of the United States (this, however, is a yes).

90’s theme songs, Blue Zones, and deep dark (harry) holes

Brandi is stir crazy and overheated but on the plus side, she’s discovered a new appreciation for Zac Efron. Wells, on the other hand, is full of favorite things this week, including an up-and-coming Broadway play and some throwback theme songs.

    One-way ticket to Mars, please!

Brandi is planning how to break it to her boyfriend that she’s soon heading to Mars permanently and Wells is teaching us all about his new favorite fungus. The co-hosts have plenty of new faves coming your way, all surprisingly current, and many of them supporting one of our fave mottos: glass of wine, true crime, in bed by 9.

Dinner parties, watermelon sugar, and the biggest loser in Bachelor history

Dinner parties, watermelon sugar, and the biggest loser in Bachelor history

Brandi is multitasking (aka drinking while podcasting) on today’s episode as she avoids the “rona” down in Florida, and Wells is trying his best to recover from the 40-minute recap of his most embarrassing TV moments. Even though the world is still slowly and surely coming to an end, the co-hosts have lots to catch up on this week, from Wells’ virtual dinner parties, the Cyrus’s potential mockuseries, and Brandi’s recent change of heart about Lost.

My Favorite Thing

Started listening after hearing Brandi on Mouthing Off (also a fantastic pod). Went back to the beginning and have listened to every single episode. Awesome and always entertaining. Great banter. Interesting topics. Super relatable. Keep it up 👍🏼

Failure to support BLM

Used to be a big fan of the pod, really appreciated the humour and recommendations. I stopped supporting after Brandi and Wells failed to adequately address their privilege and use their platform to amplify black voices and the BLM movement. Fans continued to express their disappointment and it was avoided by the pod at all costs. Unfortunately I can’t ethically support this podcast anymore.
