    Although the amount of rain has posed many problems for cricket across the country, Pannal have begun the new season and are growing both in the men's and women's teams.

    Knaresborough Town Women are on the verge of a second successive promotion.

    The club currently play in the West Riding County Womens Football League and need just 5 more points from 3 matches, to go up.

    Meanwhile, Harrogate mum of two, Zara Dodds, details the story of her youngest daughter, Aurora, who was diagnosed with Smith-Magenis syndrome - a developmental disorder that affects behaviour, emotions and learning processes.

    Zara's husband Tim is set to run in the Knaresborough Bed Race this June, in order to raise awareness of the condition, plus raise money for the charity too.

    Zara is also launching a new dance academy this weekend (27th April) especially for children with special educational needs...
