It's a new week, and Kelly and Lizz are just a couple of menty b's away from the Car Mom Auto Show. Mark your calendars, and make the drive to enjoy a ton of family festivities with Kelly and Lizz.

No one's doing anything in industry news, Kelly is just waiting for the you-know-what to drop. Lizz is debating whether she wants to drive an Atlas or a Pathfinder for her next car. And Kelly is getting ready to spend a month in the Chevy Traverse.

Lizz is bringing a throwback baby name clue today. This name has grown in popularity over the last several years, and she thinks it could be because the name is from two shows from her young adult/teen years.

A mom of four writes in to find out what Kelly's take is on the size of a Traverse vs. an Expedition. Kelly shares that the Expedition interior feels significantly bigger than the Traverse, but the trunk space is essentially the same while the Max drives like a bus, but does give you more space to haul your family's stuff.

In industry news, Stellantis has issued 30 recalls in the US so far because of a backup camera issue, according to NHTSA data. Ford ends their controversial EV certification program and reopens EV sales to all dealers. And roughly a third of car buyers say the absence of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto would be a deal breaker. Kelly is ready for manufacturers to listen to the consumers and stop looking to Tesla's cult following as an example of what buyers want.

Erica shares her breakfast burritos for today's ditch the drive-through. Just cook some sausage, Trader Joe's hash browns, scrambled eggs, and assemble your ingredients in a flour tortilla with salsa, cheese, peppers and onions. In today's industry interview, Jessica Jermakian shares why the IIHS tests above and beyond the government crash testing to measure self-protection and crash avoidance testing—including pedestrian collision avoidance testing. She also shares some little known auto-facts. SUVs are no longer outlier vehicles and nearly half of all fatal crashes are single-vehicle crashes. 

The IIHS full-size SUV crash test ratings are in and while the results aren't what everyone hoped they would be, they're likely to inspire change in the auto industry. Out of the three top selling SUVs—Wagoneer, Tahoe, and Expedition—the Wagoneer was the only vehicle that got credit for the IIHS top safety pick award. The Armada and Sequoia remain on the IIHS radar for future tests.
