My guest for this episode is Jerrie Ueberle who founded the World Academy for the Future of Women in 2009.
Jerrie shared her view on the topic of "self love" on this episode which is quite different than what we've been hearing. However, it's absolutely true that Jerrie has been serving the world with all her time, energy, money, effort and connections without "taking care" of herself.
Jerrie is a true leader who I look up to. Today is her 78 year-old birthday, I share her thoughts and wisdom with you, as a gift to her as well.

As a fan of Limitless Laowai podcast, I can't hide my excitement when I saw the latest episode being published especially when I've been yearning to see an update for over a year. Ally used to have that super power to update her podcast on average 3 times a week, that's the frequency other audience (coming from over 100 nations globally) and I had been spoiled by. It has been gone for a while that I missed of so much.

While I clicked and listened into it, I was hearing something unexpected, something so real happening in our lives, something quite unfamiliar since nobody talks about it. Until that day, Ally was bold enough to tell, to share, to bare her soul, and her emotion.

I got to know the wildly positive Ally three and half years ago, on the stage of the last EPWS Gala, she was bright, caring, authentic with incredible empathy. Today on this episode, despite the fact that we are not on the same stage, even not in the same city any more, I feel the same bright, caring, authentic Ally Mona with incredible empathy is with us.

My guest for this episode is Guillaume-Harry Françoise, who is a theatre director and clown advocate, he will also introduce himself later in the podcast as a slash, tune in to find out how many different roles he's embracing!

I met Harry in a clown performance workshop, where I learned the red nose is the smallest mask in the theatre history, carrying its own mission to bridge the audience and the stage. Harry and his team just finished a series of clown performances in the Wuzhen Theatre Festival (乌镇戏剧节) last week, I'll share a glimpse of the Wuzhen Theatre Festival at the end of this post if you didn't make it this time.

Harry spent his early childhood on Réunion Island, it's an island in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar and southwest of Mauritius. Réunionese culture is a blend of European, African, Indian, Chinese and insular traditions. Probably because of this early childhood experience, Harry is very sensitive to different cultures and prepared to immerse himself in all culture surprise (shock).

In this podcast, Harry shared about the clown energy and how he uses it daily. He also mentioned about the relationship between giving and receiving, and how to receive. It's easy to skip the receiving part since the giving concept is so popular and easy to pick up, but receiving shares the equal importance. I want to thank Harry for bringing it up and sharing his ideas with us.

In this podcast, Mahdi talked about finding our own values, self consciousness, and the reason why you would never leave the mirror (really? ).

The first half of the podcast I laughed so much which made me wonder whether I should delete that part or not, because it makes me sound less professional and very much like a fool, that's not what I want. I shared my concern with Mahdi, what he said to me was another inspiration, "if we delete the part who we are, then we almost lose the purpose of this podcast".

What Mahdi believes we all have to do is the true answer for everyone of us, who lost in this busy world fighting so hard to win something others believe which is the right things for us to do, but not from our own heart.
