    Breath Awareness

    Being aware of your breath and noticing how it flows throughout your body allows your nervous system to take a break and calm down from the everyday stressors of life.  Take a few moments to focus on your in breath and your out breath.  Noticing your breath and how it completely relaxes your body and calms your mind.  It is physiologically impossible to be anxious or stressed when you are breathing deeply and focused on your breath, so give yourself this gift whenever you are stressed.  The more you can stop and tune into your breathing, the more you will make this a habit which will help you whenever you find yourself stressed, nervous, or anxious in anyway.
