    108 DAYS DIVIDED INTO3 CHAPTERS

This time I will take you right into the ring of a towering thunderstorm in the middle of the ocean.  Welcome to another intensive moment in your life. This virus has changed many stories. This experience is shaping us. I know people who have lost some of their loved ones to COVID-19, and it makes my heart sad. For all the others, I hope you were able to expand your consciousness. Let me tell you how I experienced the last 108 days from the day I returned home with the last flight from Russia. A little outtake: "I have no idea in which situation you were before the virus came into our lives. But that’s how I feel: that many of us were in a storm - lost - and the virus gave us a break to return to simplicity and the result of it was clarity. I am sure that you also hope, that our society and people can hold on to this and to create a rhythm that is more healthier than being dashed from one side to the other. From the bottom of my heart, I wish that you have the force to stay away from the tornado of life. Put on your life vest and protect yourself. " The Member’s Club is online! In the q&a category you will find myself answering the question "Anna - what about the book? "And also how I manage distractions at work. In the reading category, you will find two of my favourite podcast episodes in written form - and there is a mini-course about taking breaks and why they are the link to be productive and efficient. Take care, Anna By the way: I will give you a summer break for 4 weeks. But I will still publish every Sunday, as usual - but I will publish 4 of my most listened podcast episodes from the last 2 years. In 5 weeks, I will be back with new episodes and with some new video animations - stay tuned and stay with me, it would be an honor.

WHY WE NEED TO TAKE REST SERIOUSLY

This week another short reading and I will tell you about how I experienced taking a break in a great stressing moment and how this changed my view on „taking a break“.  The book is called „REST - why you get more done when you work less“, written by Alex Soojung-Kim Pang.  A little outtake: "I argue that we misunderstand the relationship between work and rest. Work and rest are not polar opposites. You cannot talk about rest without also talking about work. Writing about only one is like writing a romance and naming only one of the lovers. Rest is not work’s adversary. Rest is work's partner. They complement and complete each other." The Member’s Club will be live the upcoming week. And this is only the beginning. It will grow, every week and it will become the universe of time. Do you need a weekly reminder to live your life (in form of articles, videos and much more?). Stay tuned!  Take care, Anna By the way: if you like my work, please share it with just one friend of yours. That would mean a lot to me. Thank you.

    OWN YOUR TIME

This time I will, again, take you to a special place. But I can’t tell you too much about it… Just this:- it’s about owning your own time.- It’s about walking the path of life.- It’s about saying no if your heart does not scream YES! A little outtake: "You know, in life you will make many encounters. You will have a bunch of loved ones - including family and friends, and it's good to take good care of them. The day will come, where you will be happy to have them on your side. And there is nothing more beautiful than giving them your love. But there are also, I call them the short encounters. Suddenly they are there. Maybe they stay, maybe not. Let them decide. And then, there are others: the ones trying to convince you how to live your life. They will tell you "what's normal "and what you should be doing. Let them talk, but question everything you hear because this might not be true for you. Some will say you should say yes. But the thing is, you should say NO if your heart does not scream YES! Remember this: learning to say no to many things is the way to gain the greatest freedom and flexibility possible." Enjoy and take care. AnnA By the way: if you like my work, please share it with just one friend of yours. That would mean a lot to me. Thank you.

    COURAGE & TIME

When was the last time you had to make a courageous move? Or take a courageous decision? Isn’t it the perfect time right now, to be more courageous?  This episode is different from the others. For once, I would like to share a talk with you I had with Dorie Massumi, the founder of the platform „Take the courage“. She invited me to this talk and thanks to Dories interesting questions we had a wide range open conversation. We talk about how this pandemic influences time. - We talk about owning your time. - Why the bucket list scares me. - About my one million dollar project, and of course what it means to be courageous and we dive into many other interesting topics.  Next week I will be back with my normal format, where I will take you to special places and where I will be as thought provoking as possible. Let’s open up those minds! For now, have a lovely day, take care and bye. AnnA More about Dorie: www.takethecourage.com

    WHAT'S ANGER & RAGE?

Let me show you a place which is located in your brain, called:THE CAVE OF RAGEIt’s a dark place. But don’t worry, you can get out of there and it’s important to get out of there to focus on which is far more important: to create solutions. A little outtake: "….welcome ladies and gentleman to another episode with me, Anna Jelen The Time Expert, someone who looks at life and topics with the perspective of time. Someone who is deeply touched by the latest happenings with the ongoing riots. I have to tell you; there is something that worries me. It was already visible during the Corona times. It looks like an ongoing process and even more noticeable with the latest #blacklivesmatter happenings in the USA. I'm talking about angry people. I see them. I hear them. I feel them. How about you? Do you see them as well or maybe: are YOU angry right now? With this episode, I would like to devote myself to the topic of anger and rage, with the perspective of time and with a little side anecdote from my psyche.“ 17 minutes and I will take you to the cave of rage, but don’t worry, only for a short period of time and then I will tell you my thoughts on this topic, also trying to come up with some solutions.Hope you like this one. Take care and enjoy this episode. My best wishes to you, AnnAFeel free to leave a comment.

    WHAT'S COURAGE?

Big question. But what I know is this: it’s a limitless topic and I loved to bath in it.   A little outtake: "Courage has many faces. Some think it's courageous to climb the Mount Everest. But how about a woman breaking up with her husband, facing some hard and adverse consequences, THAT's courageous. To speak your mind. To say no. To make a coming out, to let a tarantula climb your hand, to hold on to your principles, to face misfortune. To accept to be judged and critizised. All this is courageous. For the protagonist to go to Africa as well. We are all on different levels. Courage exists on different levels. Accept also, if you don't dare to do something then maybe it's just not important enough. Don't compare yourself with others. Stay on your level of courage and start working from there.“For myself, I have 3 big bold topics: Number 3: To live a life authenticallyNumber 2: To remove the maskNumber 1: To accept to be a beginner, to start over again  If you want to hear more and if you are interested that I take you on a safari to South Africa, while you can lean back and relax, just take 20 minutes to listen to my podcast. Yes, it will be your shortest Safari Trip ever. Take care my dear listener out there. My best wishes to you, AnnA Find Dories TAKE THE COURAGE Platform hereFeel free to leave a comment.
