Episode 28 – Lucas Huppert: End of Season Catch-up Skids & Giggles Mountain Bike Podcast

We sat down with Lucas Huppert to catch up ahead of Crankworx Rotorua, the final event of a busy season. We talk through highlights such as Flat Out Days, Night of the Jumps, Audi Nines, sponsor projects and, of course, the other Crankworx stops in Innsbruck and British Columbia. Naturally, not everything was great in 2021, so it was interesting to hear Lucas' perspective on mindset, risk and his takeaways for next season. Huppi was a few days out from completing his mandatory quarantine in New Zealand, so we talk a little bit about that and how he was filling his days in the hotel. To close out, we got some inputs and questions from the friends of the podcast ahead of the recording and of course we take the time to get to know "Shakhuppi", learn about hangovers, brigadeiros and what the deal with Brasil is. Finally, Huppi shares his best tips for back flips to help inspired riders of all ages.
