Bill began his career in business joining his father, Jim Haslam, who was the founder of the petroleum company Pilot Corporation. He was the CEO of the E-commerce and Catalog Division for Saks Fifth Avenue from 1999 to 2001, Mayor of Knoxville, TN from 2003-2010, and is co-owner of the Tennessee Smokies Minor League Baseball Team. He also happens to be an Enneagram Three.
