Eliminate these two days in your Life

Eliminate these two days in your Life

Most of us don't undertake our thoughts in awareness. Rather, our thoughts control us. Ordinary thoughts course through our mind like a deafening waterfall, In order to feel more in control of our minds and our lives, to find the sense of balance that eludes us, we need to step out of this current, to pause, and, as Kabat-Zinn puts it, to "rest in stillness—to stop doing and focus on just being."

We need to live more in the moment. Living in the moment—also called mindfulness—is a state of active, open, intentional attention on the present. When you become mindful, you realize that you are not your thoughts; you become an observer of your thoughts from moment to moment without judging them. Mindfulness involves being with your thoughts as they are, neither grasping at them nor pushing them away. Instead of letting your life go by without living it, you awaken to experience.

Mindful Breathing for Stress Relief and Overthinking during COVID-19

Mindful Breathing for Stress Relief and Overthinking during COVID-19

Mindful breathing is a very basic yet powerful mindfulness meditation practice. In these tough times where everything is falling apart and everyone is getting stressed it is important to reduce this stress. The idea is simply to focus your attention on your breathing—to its natural rhythm and flow and the way it feels on each inhale and exhale. Focusing on the breath is particularly helpful because it serves as an anchor–something you can turn your attention to at any time if you start to feel stressed or carried away by negative emotions. Being human, we forget the wonder of breathing. We take it for granted. It takes a health crisis or bad air quality for us to appreciate this basic, yet profound ability.

Yoga, meditation and other relaxation techniques all depend on focusing on the breath. There are many benefits of meditation and proper breathing is an important part of learning how to calm the mind and body. The benefits of bringing attention to your breathing are measurable. By practicing mindful breathing techniques, you can:

Reduce stress levels in your body
    Lower your heart rate
    Lower your blood pressure
    Improve diabetic symptoms
    Reduce depression
    Better manage chronic pain
Better regulate your body’s reaction to stress and fatigue
Reduce the possibility of burnout for caregivers

    Dealing Disappointments #Hypnosis

    Dealing Disappointments #Hypnosis

Disappointments are inevitable, and how we cope with them is often a defining moment in our lives. How we respond to disappointment is often influenced by our upbringing; some people seek to avoid disappointment by underachieving (setting their expectations permanently low) while others seek to avoid it by overachieving (setting their expectations unattainably high). Regardless of which way we lean, we can learn to respond healthily to disappointment by adopting a coping style that seeks to understand what happened, checks whether our expectations were reasonable, reevaluates our perceptions and behaviors, and seeks positive solutions instead of dwelling on the past. Introspection can be helpful, but rumination is often not. Although disappointment is inevitable, being discouraged is always a choice.

Disappointment has to lead through acceptance, come and learn with us how to deal with disappointment by hypnosis
