To wrap up our NAB 2024 coverage, we talked to Glen Mulcahy about his many activities - collaborations with Tilta and LumaTouch, as well as his training work at the CNN Academy preparing journalists for election coverage using mobile technology.He emphasized the need for responsible journalism in the digital era, particularly in combating disinformation and AI manipulation during significant election years. The conversation explores AI-driven disinformation campaigns and ethical dilemmas in leveraging social media algorithms, stressing the importance of proactive measures to safeguard against manipulation. Glenn also showed off a new modular rig from Tilta for mobile filmmaking that he provided input on.
