This format and these four (+) people are just an unbeatable mix of interesting facts, wit, and charme. It is never boring, always incredibly funny and entertaining. This podcast has never failed to cheer me up, even in the darkest circumstances. It feels like an evening out with your (incredibly smart and witty) friends but without the hassle of getting dressed and hopelessly try to match their brilliance in the conversation.
Best podcast ever.

This never fails to make me laugh. At its best, which is often, this has the warm irreverent chaos of Monty Python, The Mary Whitehouse Experience, The Goons and Yes Minister. Quintessentially British , it is as if we are allowed to eavesdrop on a bunch of talented comedy scriptwriters having a mid evening drink in the pub. The balance of the four main players is extraordinary; it is only when one is away that the dynamic is slightly disturbed and those episodes, whilst funny, tend to be the uneven ones. The warm mutual banter and ongoing teasing only serves to reward the regular listener.

In some ways this is now the flagship QI product, the main TV show still struggling to establish the new rhythm of the old versions from about E to L . It may happen, but it's not quite there yet.

It is the warm glow of funny people doing what they do best in a format that allows enough freewheeling that is so very attractive.
