We’re Stephen & Alison from the Peace in the Valley Podcast, and we want to tell you a story. Maybe you find the Bible confusing, unrelatable, or disconnected….or maybe we’re just telling a story you’re unfamiliar with. We’re here with the everyday language of storytelling that can often be heard around our dinner table as we unpack the stories of the Bible with our family, and now with you.

The following story is a simplified retelling of a passage in Scripture prompted by our daughter one night at dinner. It is not intended to be an exhaustive theological explanation, or a full picture the character’s lives, but rather a bite-sized, digestible understanding of how God loves and saves His people even in the most unusual of circumstances. Join us this week as we remember Jael.
