We stayed in the 80s this week with another campy classic. "Evil Laugh" is the story of a group of medical students who are looking to buy and restore and old foster home. The catch is that there was a murder in this foster home ten years prior and rumor has it the killer is still on the loose. We get all the great stereotypes you could ask for in this one, including a wonderful 80s music montage. Let us know what you think.

We've got another 80's classic to talk about this week. "He Knows You're Alone" from 1980 takes us on a journey with Amy Jensen. She's a young bride-to-be who's getting ready for her big wedding day coming up in 2 weeks. But a killer is on the loose who targets young ladies about to get married and their friends (a very specific demographic to be targeting). Detective Les Gamble is on the case, he has history with this killer. But can he stop the maniac in time to save Amy? We'll talk about it here.

This week we finally got back to our regular format where we watched a cheesy, campy, sometimes forgotten slasher movie and we're going to break it down. We took on 1982's "Fanatic: The Last Horror Film." The story centers around Vinny Durand, a fan obsessed with a horror starlet Jana Bates. He's an aspiring director and he's got the perfect film for Jana. But he's a nobody. So Vinny gets to Cannes Film Festival in France to try and pitch his movie to Jana. Only he discovers he has to go through agents and producers, and Jana's ex-husband Bret. And people start getting killed left and right. Has Vinny gone too far?

It's all come down to this! Our first-ever Slasher Madness 16 team bracket style tournament that pits some of our favorite Slashers against each other FINALLY comes to a conclusion. We're discussing the winner and ultimate slasher (out of the 16 movies we chose for this tournament) and we'd love your help! It's Chromeskull from the "Laid to Rest" series versus Victor Crowley from the "Hatchet" series. Although Victor's victory over The Beast last week is hotly contested. Well we're getting right down to the home stretch of our Slasher Madness 16 team bracket-style tournament. We've pitted some of the most talented Slashers from movies we've watched here at SlashU against each other. We're down to the Final Four teams facing off to decide who goes head-to-head in the championship. This week we debate everyone's favorite little tumor Belial Bradley from "Basket Case" versus the formidable Chromeskull from the "Laid to Rest" series. And after that we've got one of our toughest matchups to date, Victor Crowley from the "Hatchet" series versus The Beast from "Sweatshop." We never said this would be easy.
