This Episode of the X-Foils Episode 5, we switch up roles and let Walt Interview Dylan Co-Founder of Kite Puerto Rico / N1 surf shop and your host of this Podcast. We all thought it would be a good idea to get more details and some history into Dylans past and where he comes from in his watersports roll. Quickly rolling over some history of how Dylan got into running schools, and moving to Puerto Rico with his wife and amazing business partners to start and grow Numero Uno Beach House and Kite Puerto Rico from scratch.

This Episode tries to focus more on the how and when of foiling vs the whole business side, rolls, and everything else this large N1 team has done in Puerto Rico until now. Its all history.

No hard mention of the people that helps shape Dylan along with all the kite and foil adventures along the way, as we get to the point! The X-Foils Podcast Episode 4, Dylan as your host and Co-Hosted with Walt sit down with Mickey from San Juan Paddleboarding. Mickey Learned how to foil 7 years ago exclusively to Downwind SUP foil! We get into what pieces of equipment he could glue together to start learning a sport no one in Puerto Rico was into yet. No Titles given to Mickey for the birth of the DownWind Foil scene in Puerto Rico that is still growing.

Spending every summer in Maui for the last 10 years gave Mickey a taste of the Scene but not spoiling his urge to downwind in less than 15 knots here in Puerto Rico.



Mickey will stop at nothing to find the slickest foil on the market to surf from point A to point B as fast as it can push him. Keep a close eye on the what’s app market place close to this guy, he will give away a foil that gave him a bad taste for pennies just to have it out of his sight!!

The First Episode of a Series Called The X-Foils Podcast with your host Dylan Shewfelt, co-founder of Kite Puerto Rico and N1 Surf Shop with 15 years in the industry.
Arland our first guest, Born and Raised in PR with a history of different watersports finds himself with the foil bug like most. Arland is a team rider for North with Kite Puerto Rico/ N1 Surf Shop and is an important part of the team. This was a fun Conversation as We relax into this new setting. We will have Arland on again with more stories as this series goes on and we get more variety.

This Series will start with talking to Puerto Rico Residence about how they got into water sports, what gear they started on and eventually find themself on. What brought them to the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico if they were not Born and Raised, and how this sport changed their life for the better!
