Stephane was first introduced to the Twilight Saga back in Spring of 2009 when she saw the first movie, Twilight. While on Spring Break holiday, Stephanie borrowed all the books from her sister and ended up reading all four of them within five days. She was hooked and has read the complete series a total of six times.
In November of 2009, Cliff decided to read the series along with her to find out what she found so fascinating about this story. Cliff was shocked to find that he really enjoyed the story as well and they decided that they would podcast about each of the books chapter by chapter. The podcast also includes their reviews of each of the movies in the Twilight Saga as well as a review of the novella “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.”

Uh... hello?
It’s 2020 and here I am! I was quite young when the movies came out but I always had a strange fascination for this series. Then the movies became super famous and everyone started hating on them. I only read the books in 2014 and since then Ive reread them multiple times. I do recognize their flaws but they’re still very special to me. I feel like people think that only teenagers read this book series but that’s not true at all, as we can see from this podcast. I’ve always loved reading, specially classics (French and Russian literature, mainly); yet, I still enjoyed this series for what it is. It’s very interesting listening to you guys talk about the books, the movies and the universe created by Stephanie Meyer more than 10 years later! I wonder if you still feel the same way about the things you mentioned in this podcast hahaha Anyways, thank you for making this available. I found this by mistake but I’m very glad I did because now I want to reread the books and join you on your conversation, even if we’re ten years apart.
