Hi, I am a "washed up" college athlete that had NO freaking clue what to do after I was done playing soccer (and lets be honest, I still don't). I never thought about life after soccer, until life after soccer happened. Being an athlete was my character trait, who was I without that? My goal is to create more conversation around this huge transition in life. Each episode will be filled with experiences and advice from many different athletes. No matter the sport, we are all on the same team here (yes, I know that is corny). So to all my fellow "washed up athletes"...what the hell do we do now?

    28. Rachel | Strength was my Strength

Rachel Elery joins us this week to discuss life before, during, and after her competitive CrossFit career. Rachel is that person you can spend hours talking with, and it feels like you just sat down. The conversation goes every which way, which is my favorite type of conversation to have. Our identities and experiences are so intertwined. Can we really talk about our athletic endeavors without talking about who we believe we are? I don't think so. The things we have done and seen and experienced, shapes how we identify. No matter how significant that "athlete" piece of you is, it is still integral to who you are and who you are becoming.

    27. Joe | Life comes at you fast

    27. Joe | Life comes at you fast

Joe Kincart is an Air Force graduate, and is now serving as a pilot in the US Air Force. Joe was a pitcher on the baseball team during his time at the Air Force Academy. I found his experience unique because although he is done playing baseball, he is still within the confines and structure of the US Air Force. This is also the first episode where we had a live audience and received questions from said audience! Joe drops little nuggets of wisdom about life, sport, and leadership, to name a few.

    26. Richard | Nothing Compares

Richard is a Colorado native who played football at CU Boulder. Now, he is working as a scholar relations officer, to provide grants and scholarships to people. We discussed our athletic experiences (Rich put me in the hot seat and asked me questions as well), our careers, how I got into creating a podcast, and where we are both at now. Rich’s dog, Sue, joins us as a guest during our conversation. We compare team dynamics and the differences between different team sizes. We share what we both wish we knew before leaving athletics. And anything and everything in between. This was one of the longest episodes I've recorded, and I enjoyed every second of it.

    24. Hannah + Tracey | Pt.2 | Fortifying your friendships

Hannah and Tracey join us for the second part of their episode! Zoom kicked us off not once but twice. Luckily we finished up our conversation right as we got booted. This week we talk more in depth about the importance of who you surround yourself with, how relationships can continue to grow even when they are over distance, and we finish out the conversation discussion our hottest takes.
