Leo Fernandes (born June 6, 1980 in Sao Paulo Brazil,) From an early age in Brazil Leo Fernandes had a connection with the drums & beats. His fist contact with music was at his father's TV production company, as a child he was always behind the scene but always dreamed of coming to the states. When he finished school 2003 he obtained a visa that would allowed him to come to New York.
There his fist weekend in the Big Apple his friends took him to the Legendary ROXY night club. Peter Rauhofer was his first taste of what was to become his passion for house music. A few years passed but he kept collecting music from the best producers in the buisness. In New York he had more opportunities to grow and gain more knowledge in the art of Djing. So after one long weekend in Miami for WMC and experiencing all the international Dj's from all over the world he decided to move to the sunshine state for a summer in 2005. Ryan Work a local promoter and Dj. Jalil from Miami heard Leo in a house party and they encouraged him to take the this seriously. So he did, Leo moved back to Chicago and got his first residency at the local club Jackhammer, Jimmy the owner gave him his first shot on a friday night. It was the push that he needed to go all the way he also picked up a shift at Club Hydrate doing the lights another one of his passion.
Dj. Leo Fernandes was born in the Chicago house scene and later on he teamed up with Miami's own Dj. JRNY to start collaberating on producing new tacks. He knew that both of them together will make great tracks & they did with "Agua y Amor" dj's all over played their music & now he found a new passion to make people dance everywhere to his beats. Dj. Leo Fernandes was able to widen his horizons after he was asked to play in San Diego at Spin night club.
As his fans can attest, Dj Leo Fernandes is a very talented person with agreat sence of direction and a continuous desire to learn new methods. He strives to in perfecting his work and has dedicated 100% of his time towards attaining his goals.His ambition have taken him a long way since he first started and his passion only keeps growing. His work is a very unique style and taste in music makes him one artist that you want to keep your eye on in the near future.
