006 Katie Chung + Mark Pascale Inside the Edition

    • Artes visuales

Artist Katie Chung (@kaaatiechung) asks Mark Pascale, a curator in the Art Institute's Department of Prints and Drawings, to demystify the acquisition process. Katie and Mark talk about Miyoko Ito’s 1948 lithograph, From the Porch, and one of Martin Ramirez’s drawings. Mark traces their journey from origin to the Art Institute’s collection and reveals just how human the acquisition process really is.
