Cooking In Haste
I guess this happens to many people who aren't experts in cooking. I just can't get the quantity right. It will either be too little or too much. Same with soup. I buy readymade soup powders and I'm the only one who drinks soup in my house. So the sachet says "4 servings". Okayyyyy. So how much water do I need to put and how much powder and I end up cooking too much soup.

Damp Birdseed
There are a few sparrow nests near our home and we have gotten used to their noise in the mornings. Rainy season has started and the birdseed on the parapet is wet and has to be replaced so the sparrows can have fresh grain.
