    Dr Jerry White:
    Dr. Jerry White is the international president emeritus of The Navigators, a mission organisation with 5,500 staff members serving in evangelism and discipleship across more than 100 countries. He holds a master’s degree and a PhD in astronautics from Purdue University and served as an associate professor in astronautics at the United States Air Force Academy. With a 37-year tenure in the U.S. Air Force (active-reserve), he retired as a Major General. Dr. White also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Lausanne Movement.

    Dr. Joy is a leadership development and counselling consultant, and a member of different coaching and counsellor associations. She serves government and private organisations and has volunteered with international Christian non-profit organisations. She is the author of two books and, with her husband, the co-founder of a family life and community development non-profit organisation. Married for over 36 years, they are parents of four adults and grandparents. Dr. Wilson enjoys cooking, reading, swimming, interacting with, and helping people.

    In this episode of "God on the Move," Wuni Bitrus recounts how, after meeting a young Deaf girl in his church, he felt that God was calling him to take action. Within two weeks, he learned sign language and served as her translator in church. It was the first time she heard about Jesus outside of her Muslim school. Drawing on his background in Computer Science, he began teaching her computing, leading to an increasing interest from the Deaf community to learn alongside him. This journey culminated in the creation of the Deaf Technology Foundation, dedicated to empowering the deaf community through innovative technology solutions and training.

After graduating from university, he dreamt of entering the working world and making it big. But God had different plans: for him to join the PNG Bible Translation Association. What Barton didn't know was that he would indeed be part of the marketplace, but this time to serve as a bridge between secular businesses and ministries. And his work bore fruit: in his new role within a local mining company, he successfully secured the largest donation ever received by the PNG Bible Translation Association from within the country.

    Barton was born in Rigo, a district of Central Province in Papua New Guinea. He holds a bachelor's degree in surveying technology from the PNG University of Technology. He continued his academic journey with a postgraduate diploma in education from the University of Goroka. Additionally, he obtained a master's in communication studies from the PNG University of Technology in Lae, specialising in development communication. Barton dedicated several years to full-time employment at the PNG Bible Translation Association. Currently, he navigates the secular sphere, utilising his expertise to bridge gaps between the marketplace and ministry.
