As a Black member of the LDS church, I've wondered about the history of people who look like me within the church. So I did a bunch of research, sent research to potential special guests, and decided, for Black History Month this year, I want to teach about Black History within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but in a more innovative and fun way! I created this series/brand with the intentions of being an annual podcast. While this year, it starts with three episodes, we hope to grow large enough to have an episode released each day of February in the future! Hope you like it!

Jane Manning James
Summary: Happy Black History Month Everyone! For our third episode, we'll be going over the life of Jane Manning James. Her name is one that a few LDS members might have heard of, especially because there was recently a movie released about her. Though, the film didn't do very well so you probably didn't see it. No worries though, we watched it for you! Twice. As usual, We highly recommend going over the study materials before joining us as it'll definitely enhance your understanding if you have prior knowledge. But we're also pretty thorough and you make your own choices so do what you want!
