“Past Lives” (2023‪)‬ Buzzed Candid & Critical

Keeping it in theme with Valentines and romance, Beto chose a movie he hadn’t even seen himself yet: “Past Lives.” Similar to “Blue Valentine”, it explores themes that, although aren’t overdramatized, are far too real to ignore. It won’t make you cry, but you might sulk for a while if you’ve experienced what Nora and Hae Sung have gone through.
