Democratic strategists suggest that if Joe Biden fails to face off with Trump or his polling numbers continue to decline, a united front of liberal grandees could force him out, posing a high-risk process.

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin has warned Western nations that he could arm other countries with weapons to attack them. This comes days after US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to strike inside Russia with American weapons.
