Hinga: The Repercussions of Abuse and Aggression Inflicted on Children during the Pandemic
As Christian brothers and sisters, it is our responsibility to take care of our neighbors and protect them from varying forms of harm. As the family is the most basic and most important social institution for a person’s spiritual development, it is imperative that its youngest members are protected, as they are the individuals whose future hangs on the line. Ultimately, aggression is a learned behavior. By inflicting and tolerating abuse, one not only demoralizes the prospects of one individual, but those of his generation, and possibly the generation after him as well.
This episode's guest, Mr. Russell Santos RPm, along with the Hinga Hosts discuss the dimensions in which abuse is inflicted towards children and how it festers in the community's culture.
