Mark Orval | The Man Behind Angry Da‪d‬ The Athlete Diaries

    • Sports

He’s the Angry Dad we all know and love that has brought so much joy to the world being tormented by his two boys.

Putting some of the videos together and reliving some of the pranks was hilarious, if you haven’t seen them yet do yourself a favour and watch them, you’ll be in stitches!

The man behind Angry Dad is a story in itself and one I’ve been looking forward to sharing.

Mark Orval was a seriously talented footballer, that good Peter Daicos still names his best of the bunch out of Collingwood’s young brigade at the time. Mark played 7 games for the Pies and showed serious talent before his career was heavily impacted by injury.

We speak about:
His journey to the AFL and being picked up by Collingwood

Mark’s transition out of football and being misunderstood

His journey through mental health and breaking down the stigma

How Angry Dad was born and how it’s helped so many + changed some of the children’s lives

This is an amazing chat and I’m so appreciate that Mark was so open and passionate in sharing his story and trying to help as many people as possible.
