Australia has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in the developed world – 40% have at least one dog and 27% have at least one cat. And there has been a significant increase in people getting pets during COVID-19. One of the concerns with the increase is what happens to the pets when people go back to the office.? Dr Louise Schaper, CEO of the Australian Institute of Digital Health, and Anna O’Dea, Founder of Agency Iceberg Recruitment, discuss the benefits and issues with pet friendly workplaces.
