Scott (Pete Davidson) is an unemployed, under-achieving man-child who lives with his mother, Margie (Marisa Tomei) and spends his days smoking marijuana with his friends. When his mothers starts dating for the first time in 17 years and ends up in a relationship with a firefighter named Ray (Bill Burr), it disrupts Scott's life and forces him to tackle the steps of adulthood as well as learn how to cope with the loss of his firefighter father.
