Tonal Recall Episode 1 - Don't Bring Me Down (Groos)
This is the first episode for Tonal Recall. The purpose is to highlight songs and artists in my listening experience to discover why I write the music I write. I heard "Don't Bring Me Down" when I was 9. I remember where I was and what I was doing. This song sounded like the future. And it has held up all this time, nearly 30 years later. Enjoy.

The 2:40 intro was written in 1969... yes, that means it turns 50 next year! And it moves me as much today as it did when I first experienced this piece. Listen in to find out how that happened.
